Stacy ensured our order was received in time for Christmas and very responsive to any questions/concerns. We absolutely LOVE this playhouse! It is sturdy, so well made and beautiful. It arrived in record time as well. We are actually using it as a bed "hideout". The toddler mattress and bed frame fits into it perfectly. Our little one loves taking naps now in her new princess house. Thank you for the flawless service! The Gingerbread Cottage playhouse is wonderful. My daughter loves it. It is a good size, big enough for an adult to get in but small enough to have in the house. The fabric is very tough and sturdy. It is very easy to put together. The frame was just a little to big for the canvas. But after trimming the poles of the frame just a small amount everything fits perfect. |

This is the most beautiful and well made inside playhouse that I have ever seen. At first I was going to order the playhouse being sold in the catalog this year by Pottery Barn Kids. In Nov. when I attempted to order same for my granddaughters, it was no longer available. That led me to surf the internet for a playhouse and I found the Sweet Retreat Kids website, which I never knew anything about prior to this. I am so glad the scenario played out as it did because my granddaughters now have the most beautiful playhouse any child could hope for. The fairy appliques are just so special as are the windows and curtains, which you can pull back with velcro or just let hang, and the door is so attractive as well with window pains cut out in the fabric. The striped and scalloped roof just set off this very sturdy and gorgeous playhouse. I know my granddaughters will get many years of playtime from this product. They already have their dolls sleeping in their beds in same and have created a home-like atmosphere for play time. I am well satisfied and recommend same to anyone who wants to delight a special girl or girls in their lives! I might add that although this product is not cheap by any means, I feel the price was well worth it for the quality of the workmanship provided, not to mention the beauty of the piece. Lastly, I ordered the large playhouse as I have found all the playhouses offered elsewhere were too small to do anything with. I wanted my 2 granddaughters to have some room to enjoy. |
