Shipping charges are based on the dollar amount of your total purchase. The rates below apply to standard ground shipping* via common carrier (ex. FedEx, UPS, or USPS) in the continental United States. Each product page includes a "Ships In" time. This time reflects the estimated lead time required to make the item and/or prepare it for shipping. The lead time is an estimate provided by the individual designer. We will make every effort to expedite the production and shipping of your purchase, but we cannot be held responsible for unforseeable delays. While most orders ship within the timeframe noted, the "Ships In" time is not a guarantee. Please keep in mind that estimated lead times do not include holidays and weekends. Transit time is approximately 1 week.
Types of Delivery:
Standard Ground Shipping - This is the service used for small to medium-size packages. It includes delivery to your doorstep by FedEx or UPS or delivery to your mailbox by USPS.
Freight Delivery - Oversized and/or heavy items (ex. large furniture, playhouses, etc.) are shipped using a freight carrier skilled in handling and transporting special-care items. These products may incur a home delivery surcharge in addition to regular shipping charges. Please note that free shipping promotions do not include surcharges on oversized items. For oversized items and furniture, see details on Receiving Your Shipment. Please notify us at the time of order if your delivery involves any special circumstances, including but not limited to: living in a remote area, along a narrow or unpaved road that may be difficult to navigate in a large freight carrier, along a route with weight restrictions that may prevent freight trucks from accessing your home, or in an area requiring ferry transportation. Your delivery may require special arrangements that are best made in advance to avoid delays and added fees.
Standard Home Delivery (Freight) - This is the service offered for the majority of our freight (oversized) deliveries. It includes delivery to the first dry area - usually a garage, covered porch, or first floor of an apartment building. Please notify us if you need freight delivery to any floor other than ground level or if you need special accomodations like a freight elevator appointment or ferry transportation as additional fees may apply.
Curbside Delivery (Freight) - A limited number of products include free curbside delivery. With this service, the driver moves the shipment to the end of the truck, and the customer is responsible for getting the product off the truck and into the home. If the product comes with curbside delivery, this will be noted on the product page. Some products with free curbside delivery include an option to upgrade to a premium delivery service.
Shipping Damages, Errors, or Shortages
Please report any shipping damages, errors, or shortages to us within 5 days of receipt of the shipment. If you fail to notify us within this timeframe, we will be unable to file a claim with the freight company or manufacturer/designer on your behalf.
Shipping Outside of Continental United States
The shipping rates above apply to the 48 states in the Continental U.S. We can ship some (but not all) of our products to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, U.S. Territories, or other international locations. Please contact us before placing your order to ensure that we can ship the items you want and to get a shipping quote. Please note that in the rare case of shipping damage, product defect, or other error, we must send replacement items to an address in the Continental U.S. or charge for any fees related to international shipping.
Undeliverable Shipments and Refused Deliveries
Undeliverable shipments and refused deliveries will incur all shipping charges (to the delivery location and back to the original shipping address) in addition to a 25% restocking fee. Please note that final sale items (ex. furniture, personalized items, sale items, and custom orders) cannot be refunded.
