Easy set-up - The giant stuffed teddy bear will arrive in several sections - the head and shoulders, two arms, two furry sides and legs, plush pillows to stuff each section, and a piece of fabric that covers the top of the mattress. You simply put the corresponding pillow in each section then zip all of the pieces together around the mattress set. The furry sections of the teddy bear zip to the piece of fabric that covers the mattress. Everything connects with high quality, heavy-duty zippers.
Changing sheets is easy - Boo Boo doesn't use traditional fitted sheets. He wears specialty sheets made to look like clothes! The bottom of the sheet slips over each foot of the teddy bear just like shorts. The top of the sheet slips over each arm of the teddy bear, just like a shirt.

Not as big as it looks - Pictures of Boo Boo the Giant Teddy Bear Bed are a little deceiving. The head of this giant stuffed teddy bear actually rests on the bed, so the mattress sits flush against the wall. The feet of the teddy bear extend about 14" past the end of the mattress. The plush frames average about 41" to 48" wide x 92" long. A typical wood or metal bed frame averages about 40" wide x 81" long for a standard twin (or 85" long for an XL twin), so his teddy bear won't take up much more space than a traditional bed frame.

Great for transitioning from crib to big boy's bed - This fun and affordable boy's bed accomodates an optional bumper set that forms safety rails on both sides of the bed. The bumper set includes a top sheet to use in place of the bed's standard top sheet. The bumper top sheet includes two pockets to hold two 4" x 40" foam bumpers. The bumpers are made of a soft, non-toxic, non-phthalate, recyclable polyethylene foam that can be re-used as water noodles when your little boy no longer needs the bumpers. As an added bonus, the bumper sheet is made with a 100% cotton fabric that is laminated with a safe, non-toxic, non-phthalate PU film on the back to make it waterproof. When used in conjunction with the optional bumpers, the bed is safe for boys 18 months and up. The bumpers are also cozy and comforting to young kids trying to transition from a crib to a big boy's bed. A twin size mattress often seems huge to young children who are used to the confines of a crib. The optional foam bumpers surround the child and cover part of the mattress, making it feel smaller and safer.
